Sports are a fantastic release for young people to hone their skills, get their energy out, connect with others, and add to the diversity of their day.
Games are run more like a family than a school where all abilities and ages can participate in the fun. It doesn’t mean we don’t have healthy competition, however, with tournaments where roommates get together to see who wins.
All of the athletic activities still have a clinical component, though. We begin by talking about setting expectations, setting goals, and talking about teamwork. There is something bigger we can get out of every experience and we show these young men and women how to do it.
